In process - from sketch to material

CONCEPT

In 2019, I was chosen to be 3rd resident for 92Y jewelry residency and got to spend 1 month from middle of August until middle of September in NYC, all thanks to Jonathan Wahl, who is the founder of the residency.

I spent half of the month discovering unfamiliar city and surrounding combined with having chance to go to different exhibitions with curator tours and meeting new faces. Second half of the month was fiercely spent in studio, where I was all alone.

Overall the month was enriching and left stamp on my creations.

One month after returning home, I had a chance to fly back to NYC to open my first solo exhibition which was curated by Jonathan Wahl in the Hall of Mirrors at 92Y during New York Jewelry Week 2019. Exhibition showcased face jewellery made by me from 2018 (graduation collection) until 2019 including pieces I started during my residency earlier.
